Audacity??

i record tracks on audacity, but however much i try, i'm not able to get my track to sound professional. it's not my voice or the beat, because they're both perfectly in rhythm. I try to EQ and mix, but it won't work right.

can someone tell me if it's even possible to make professional recordings on audacity?

and if it is, where can i learn how to do it?

thanksAudacity??
it's possible, but very difficult. audacity is a very low powered program, not at all suited to professional audio production.

if your mostly using loops then fruity loops will be a lot more suited to you.

but if you want the best results you need to use a professional sequencer like Logic (Mac), Cubase, Sonar, Pro Tools etc...

and plugins like Waves, Battery(drums), Halion(samples),

and a mastering program like Steinberg WaveLab

here is a great site on audio production.

http://www.tweakheadz.com/

the forums there are great and full of audio engineers.

it will help you heaps.
