I have an audio track I recorded on audacity, and I want to make it a soundtrack on windows movie maker, but it doesn't recognize the file as a soundtrack. It does recognize mp3s, so how do I convert it to that or something else it will recognize?How do I convert audacity to an mp3?

You would need the mp3 (Lame) encoder at least then Export the file as mp3. Audacity may have encoder built in already.
