My producer produced me a track which is not loud enough comparing to other songs I listen on my laptop. How can i fix it with audacity. When amplifying the bass makes a lot of noise.

On the left side of your music track opened in audacity, there are two sliders. The first one is - and + and the other one is L and R. Drag the first slider towards the + sign and you will see a tooltip indicating the Gain in terms of +%26lt;number here%26gt;dB. Then after raising the slider test play the track if the audio level is acceptable, you dont want to over volume it.
