i have to record my own lyrics over a song (Ninjas by The Midnight Beast) for a project. i have both garageband and audacity (mac version).

Open the song in audacity and split the song from one stereo audio track to two separate left and right tracks in the menu next to th. Then select the right track go to the Effects menu and select invert.Change both the right and left tracks to mono.
