The reason why I asked is because I'm trying to make good guitar videos, and I want to record my amp form a separate microphone into Audacity where the sound is better, and have the visual from my webcam. My webcam is a Logitech and I have the Logitech software, and Window movies maker.How could I get my webcam to record a video, and a separate microphone record the audio into Audacity?
Download Total Screen Reocorde to record a video. Though it records audio, but you can disable the audio recording and record the audio with Audacity.

See if setting the separate mic as the default recording source (in Control Panel.Sound) will make the webcam software use that mic.
