I have Audacity, and I found out from a friend you can record songs off of youtube without it going through your microphone and sounding like crap.. but I'm not sure what settings you need to do that, and whenever I try to record anything it just sounds like crap.. any suggestions?..audacity?
you should try " freecorder "
you can record anything from the internet without any interference.....like you can turn off your speakers and will still record

Use the DownloadHelper plugin for Firefox to download the videos.
Then use Flv Extract to take the audio file out of the videos.
