How to use Audacity to record things that go through your speaker?

I want to record something off the internet. I heard of Audacity, so, I've download it... now how do I use it to record what ever plays... even an alert message box beep!|||Open Audacity





See the scroll-down box at the top right?





Click on the scroll-down box and select Stereo Mix





Then record.
