I have a file in mp3 format that i would like to import into the audacity software. But whenever I try, it says it recognises the file but cannot import it. Is it possible to import the file?|||audacity needs a mp3 en/decoder to open mp3 files, the best one is the lame encoder. You need to download that and then tell audacity where it is (just put it in the same folder) and then you should be able to open mp3s fine.|||Try this free media format conversion sofware.
