I tried to record something off of the internet using Audacity on my pc, but when I lisnened?

to the audio file, I could only hear what I recorded very quietly and I could hear a lot of other noises, too. How can I make a good quality recording from with Audacity?I tried to record something off of the internet using Audacity on my pc, but when I lisnened?
You might have to turn up the volume on your pc and check to see it its recording from the mic.

ALso remember what ever noise comes out of your computer Audacity will record.

For example if you click and windows made a beep sound that will be recoreded along with music.
