How do I get Audacity to record only what I'm playing, not what my computer is playing?

Ok, Audacity is somehow recording sounds that are coming from my computer. That's kinda cool, but lets say I want to play along to a song that's playing on my computer, but I only want to record what I'm playing, not what my computer is playing. How do I get that to work?|||Go to control panel . then to sounds . then make your mic . the default device .
